Despite the off and on drizzle and puddles during Baltimore Artscape Arts Festival, 7IghQ Band lured in thousands of survillians to the previously empty Wells Fargo Stage area on Saturday, July 21, 2012.
Their seductive Soca and Reggae sounds drew in patrons from the galleries, and picnic areas, kept them there prancing and waving until the band ended 40 minutes later. The enticing large crowd which were mainly made up of Caucasians, loved and appreciated the Caribbean flavor that 7IghQ Band brought to the Festival. When the main singer and band leader Julius D Intelligent yelled, "Can we leave now?" the highly energetic dancers responded with a loud and drawn out "Nooooooo" as the rained poured . "This is my band! this is my band! An Indian man yelled, while lifting his hands up to the sky as he absorbed the rain.

7IghQ Band were winners of the 2012 Baltimore Sound Off Live Event which granted them the opportunity to grace the same stage as top artists such as Dionne Warwick, Fantasia and Brian McNight just to name a few.
